Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as 14 years old. After training in kickboxing boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd then went on to take down three opponents in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents had been defeated in the first minute. Following that, she travelled to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen won over Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was superior to Aspen as she beat her by unanimous vote. Cynthia's record as an amateur was damaged. Ladd recovered from the loss with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen started her professional career in 2015after signing to Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11 was her first fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the the first round via TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first bout as a Bantamweight. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen made use of her wrestling prowess to beat McGill in the third round via TKO. She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen dominated Hoy and defeated her in the second round via TKO. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut came on UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina, and ground-and - pounded her for a TKO victory in the 2nd round. She maintained her dominance and picked up another victory over Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd defeated Evinger within the first minute and earned a reward for her performance on the evening. Ladd fought in her debut big fight in the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both fighters put up a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd taking a unanimous win and each fighter received an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie was able to finish the fight in just 16 seconds and finish Ladd and her streak. The third time she fought on UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In a recent replacement match in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight ended in a unanimous verdict.
